Guitar
We offer guitar lessons to students of all levels, in individual and group formats. The recommended age for beginning guitar lessons is 8. All students participate in various concerts throughout the year and may prepare for external examinations.
When putting together a guitar program that suits the student’s needs, we consider the following parameters and options:
Student Level and Learning Goals
We welcome equally students who desire formal credentials of external examinations and those who want to study guitar simply for their own personal fulfillment.
Examination Preparation
Musicopolis offers preparation for all grades of the ABRSM, Trinity College London, and Rockschool examinations in guitar performance.
Ungraded Lessons
For students who do not want to follow formal examination curricula, we offer guitar lessons that cater to the students’ individual goals. Ungraded guitar lessons are available to students of all levels, from beginners to highly advanced players.
Individual and Group Lessons
Guitar instruction is available either on an individual basis or in small-group formats. In fact, we specialize in adult group guitar lessons as a way to combine learning music with social interaction.
Lesson Duration
Our lessons are available in 45- or 60-minute time slots. However, we can provide lessons of shorter or longer durations, according to our students’ needs.
